Writers, Readers, and Supporters,
WEIRDSCAPES COVER:
We are thrilled to reveal the cover for our upcoming publication, Weirdscapes: An Otherworldly Anthology (out 7/1/25)!

SEER, is an original oil painting by Australian fine artist, Lix North. It is just one in her Bellwether series, which you're gonna want to check out (just be prepared for your jaw to drop). We are beyond grateful that she has agreed to work with our little press. Thanks, Lix!
INK ALCHEMY AUTHORS:
Welcome new Ink Alchemy Books authors: Leah Erikson, Odin Meadows, Tom Ray, Bendix Ross, and E.N. Welsh! Thank you for bringing your creativity to Weirdscapes. Get to know them.
This month we are spotlighting Michael Heyman, a scholar, writer, and performer of literary nonsense, poetry, music, and children’s literature. He is a Professor at Berklee College of Music in Boston. His poems and stories can be found in various journals and in The Puffin Book of Bedtime Stories, The Moustache Maharishi, and This Book Makes No Sense: Nonsense Poems and Worse, which he edited. He is the head editor of The Tenth Rasa: An Anthology of Indian Nonsense. Find Heyman's story, 'Sky Cricket; or How Moon Bear and Clouded Leopard Became Themselves,' in Whimsy: A Literary Doom and Gloom Antidote
(Are you one of our authors with something to promote? Please let us know! We'd be happy to include it in our newsletter and/or social media)
UPCOMING EVENTS:
If you haven't had a chance to catch a local Whimsy reading, you have another! Ithaca area authors, David Kirk, Augusto Luiz Facchini, and Leora Spitzer will be reading from their delightful stories on Sunday, June 29th, 1pm, at All My Friends Books, the new bookstore in Cortland, NY. True to their name, they are so friendly there! If you live in the area, consider browsing their thoughtfully curated selection.
