Writers, Readers, and Supporters,
Read on for two upcoming events, a new call for submissions, and of course your monthly writing prompt with writer's block buster. Also spotlighted in this newsletter is Ink Alchemy Books author, Eric Sterbenk, who we are very excited to have as acting editor for our next collection (and who was also my screenwriting professor, oh-- twenty years ago)!

INK ALCHEMY AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT:
This month we are spotlighting author, Eric Sterbenk. Growing up as a military brat all over the world, Eric currently lives and writes in Corning, NY. Perpetually reinventing himself, Eric has worked as a stage manager, actor, photographer, professor, software engineer, and stay-at-home dad—although not all at the same time. He has written plays, screenplays, a YA Novel and is currently researching a TV series set in Paris during WW2.
✨ Find Eric's story, 'Happiness Is for Pretty People' in Shift ✨
He's also editor of the upcoming anthology Black Hole Coffee (see below)

WRITING PROMPT:
Need a spark of inspiration? Here, have a prompt: The story is not yet finished… Think of a well-known story, now pick up from the ending. What happens next?
.
Writer's Block? Select music to be your story's "soundtrack." Now write to it.
Thanks for being part of the Ink Alchemy community!
Warmly,
